<div>We are seeking an experienced Physician to join our Correctional Health team in Gaston County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the medical. This role will spend 2 days per week providing care to patients. 

 Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients.</li>
<li>Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.</li>
<li>Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff, to ensure exceptional patient care.</li>
<li>Manage chronic conditions, perform preventive care, and promote wellness through patient education and counseling.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and quality standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other department heads and administrators to achieve organizational goals and objectives.</li> 
</ul>
 Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.</li>
<li>Active and unrestricted medical licensure in the state of North Carolina.</li>
<li>Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine).</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a related health setting.</li>
</ul>

<li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends and regulations.</li>
<li>A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li>
<li>Experience in Correctional, Mental Health and/or MAT</li></ul>
