Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care, with experience in various psychiatric practices. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Engage in telehealth services to reach patients who may benefit from remote consultations.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care within inpatient and outpatient settings.</li><li>Participate in data collection for ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry.</li><li>Post-residency experience preferred, particularly in behavioral health settings.</li><li>Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.</li><li>Experience working in hospital environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with geriatric psychiatry is a plus; experience with children is also a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform intake assessments and provide mental health counseling effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
