<div></div><div><b>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></div>
<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age or older to use the pizza oven, meat slicer or knives.
</li><li><b>Ability to work Monday-Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm.
</b></li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.</li>
<li>Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
</li><li>No previous work experience is required.
</li><li>State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment. If this applies to you based on your age and state of residence, the Community Manager at the location where you are applying will provide guidance on the necessary steps. Any required work permit must be submitted to the Community at the time of hire to ensure compliance with state requirements.</li>

<ul><li><b>Create a welcoming dining experience </b>by greeting residents and guests with warmth, presenting menu options clearly, taking accurate orders, and tailoring portion sizes to individual preferences.</li>
<li><b>Protect quality and safety </b>by maintaining cleanliness and handling dishware with care to prevent breakage.
</li><li><b>Ensure seamless service</b> by keeping the exhibition line attended and visually appealing throughout meal hours.</li>
<li><b>Engage with professionalism </b>when responding to feedback, addressing concerns promptly, and escalating issues to leadership when necessary.</li>
<li><b>Operate kitchen equipment safely</b> and confidently, including pizza ovens and sharp tools, following all safety standards (must be at least 18 years of age or older).</li>
<li><b>Contribute to team success </b>by completing support work and additional tasks assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
</li><li><b>Maintain strict sanitation </b>standards in all food preparation and production areas.</li>

As the <b>Overnight Housekeeper &amp; Resident Services </b>at Village Crossing Retirement, you&rsquo;ll keep our community secure and running smoothly overnight. You&rsquo;ll stay alert, tackle tasks to keep the community spotless, and respond quickly to any situation, including emergencies. Every shift ends with the community ready for a great day ahead. <b>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></div>
<ul><li>At least 21 years old with a valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record; able to valet park vehicles safely.</li>
<li><b>Able to work Thursday-Monday 11:00pm to 7:30am while staying present and alert for the entire shift.</b></li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED).</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Previous customer service experience, professional appearance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities; willing to assist in various areas.</li>
<li>Team-oriented with a proactive approach and attention to detail; reliable in completing tasks accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the local community, preferred.</li>
<li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff.</li>
<li>Must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire.</li>

<b>Key Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Maintain exceptional cleanliness</b> throughout the community. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, operating the floor scrubber, maintaining the indoor pond, refreshing restrooms and the bistro, sanitizing high‑touch surfaces, rolling silverware, emptying waste baskets, dusting, replenishing ice, cleaning the coffee and ice cream machines, caring for the salad bar, and ensuring all shared spaces and furnishings are tidy, stocked, and ready for the day ahead.</li>
<li><b>Respond calmly and quickly to emergencies, </b>monitor resident call systems, and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.</li>
<li><b>Support community safety</b> <b>by monitoring building systems </b>(including fire alarms), following emergency protocols, and guiding residents during fires or severe weather events.</li>
<li><b>Assist with administrative support </b>by taking room‑service requests, selling meal tickets, distributing menus, completing porch drops, scheduling transportation, and maintaining organized records.</li>
<li><b>Support community operations </b>by walking the community, proactively noticing and reporting concerns, assisting with event setup, and providing responsible alcohol service during gatherings.</li>
<li><b>Create memorable first impressions</b> by greeting residents, families, and guests, answering calls with professionalism, anticipating needs before they arise, and offering courteous valet services to residents and visitors.</li>
<li><b>Welcome new residents </b>by introducing yourself whenever you see them.</li>
