Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
We are seeking a PreOp PACU Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care rendered postoperatively until the patient is dismissed from the facility. With your expertise, our center will continue its&rsquo; legacy of employing nurses who contribute to the company&rsquo;s mission and vision.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Prepare your patients&rsquo; care area adequately and ensure necessary equipment and supplies and provided</li><li>
You will demonstrate proper airway management techniques</li><li>
Monitor your patients according to policy (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.).</li><li>
You will exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks</li><li>
Perform and document head to toe evaluation of your patients utilizing an approved scoring system in line with HCA policy and procedure</li><li>
Check dressings and/or operative site of your patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon</li><li>
Provide a safe and comforting environment for your patients and family</li><li>
Ensure your patients meet discharge criteria</li></ul>
Qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required</li><li>
1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Preop, PACU, ER, ICU or Surgery</li><li>
Active RN license as required by state of employment</li><li>
BCLS Certification upon employment. ***online certification not acceptable</li><li>
ACLS required within 30-days of hire</li><li>
PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire</li></ul>

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in the circulating or scrub role. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.
What you will do in this role:
<ul><li>Evaluate patients prior to surgery</li><li>
Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process</li><li>
Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification</li><li>
Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy</li><li>
Recognize and respond to patient emergencies</li><li>
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>
Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team &ndash; consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more</li><li>
Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients</li><li>
Assess patient condition, monitor throughout your shift, and document changes in patient condition along with the care provided thoroughly</li><li>
Educate patients and families/caregivers about the patient&rsquo;s medical condition, treatment and follow-up measures</li></ul>
Qualifications you will need:
<ul><li>Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center</li><li>
Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure</li><li>
Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***online certification not acceptable</li><li>
ACLS as required by facility</li><li>
CNOR certification preferred</li></ul>
