Legal Assistant/Paralegal Boutique Family Law Firm looking for a self motivated Paralegal/Legal assistant. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide administrative support to attorney and enhance office effectiveness.</li><li>Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.</li><li>Administratively support attorney with trial/hearing preparation.</li><li>Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.</li></ul><ul><li>Answer client phone calls.</li><li>Maintain attorney contact lists.</li><li>Monitor deadlines and juggle attorney calendars.</li><li>Draft and prepare discovery questions and responses.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary</li><li>Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system</li><li>Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office</li><li>Computer literacy</li><li>Proficiency in English</li><li>Working knowledge of case management software</li><li>Excellent secretarial and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Associate (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Paralegal: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Legal case management: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>San Antonio, TX 78205: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
