<div>The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as additional administrative support functions while maintaining excellent customer service.

This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM, this role will primarily be 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM out of our Edina Specialty Surgery Center.

Revo Health is a professional services company that partners with multiple healthcare groups to deliver exceptional patient care. This position will be employed through Revo Health, working closely with Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) and its operating divisions.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Greet and register surgery patients. Obtain all appropriate insurance information and signatures from patients at the time of registration</li>
<li>Verify all patients&rsquo; insurance is accurately updated</li>
<li>Responsible for entering all new or changed patient information from pre-op phone call into system prior to patient having surgery</li>
<li>Manage and retrieve history and physical (H&amp;Ps) process for upcoming surgery patients, as needed</li>
<li>Responsible for all patient chart preparation and break down of charts</li>
<li>Assists with patient pre-operative phone calls and surgery scheduling</li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring fax machine for filing operative reports, pathology reports etc.</li>
<li>Collaborates with other disciplines to maximize patient outcomes and ensure a smooth flow of the surgical experience</li>
<li>Accountable for reporting occurrences through the center&rsquo;s established reporting process related to employee and/or patient/visitor events</li>
<li>Fosters the developmental and educational process of self, colleagues, orientees and students (includes functioning as a preceptor)</li>
<li>Participates in acceptable continuing education, fostering career and skill development including meeting departmental continuing education requirements</li>
<li>Assists in managing controllable costs by the proper, non-wasteful use of surgery center resources</li>
<li>Any and all other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
 Education and Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma/GED or equivalent</li>
<li>Medical terminology knowledge preferred</li>
<li>Customer Service experience</li>
<li>Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred</li>
<li>Current certification in basic CPR for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) or completed upon hire.</li>
</ul>

<li>Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.</li>
<li>Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.</li>
<li>Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.</li>
<li>Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.</li>
<li>Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).</li>

<li>Travel independently throughout the clinic, office, or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods may be required.</li>
<li>Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Communicate and interact respectfully and professionally.</li>
<li>Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations.</li>
<li>Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li>
<li>Understand and execute a variety of instructions.</li>
<li>Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system.</li>
<li>Work independently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Travel to other work locations, if required</li>
