 The Jobs
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the sourcing process by conducting preliminary assessments of production sites, reviewing technical documentation, advising improvement and corrective actions for potential suppliers in assigned regions (Turkey, Egypt, India, Thailand).
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with international buyers, suppliers and Merchandising teams managing quality aspects for new and repeated orders, from supplier audits and specifications approval to production monitoring and shipment release.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize and manage pre-shipment inspection, sampling and testing activities, review documentations and provide professional advice and recommendations on the results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the performance of testing and inspection houses, proactively report potential quality and shipment risks, and provide solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate complaints investigations, provide feedback based on suppliers&rsquo; data and monitor the implementation of corrective actions to close deviations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate and timely data and documentation in the systems.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Degree holder in food science, food engineering or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 3 years&rsquo; work experience in food quality assurance, plus prior experience in ambient (canned, dry) and frozen (fish, fruits) product categories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with legal and quality standards for processed food products in the EU market.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience with the Turkish and Indian supply base of advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-disciplined and equipped with time- and project management skills, capable to deliver within agreed deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of the team in a cross-cultural environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solution-oriented, attention to details, and always striving for customer success and excellent service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mature personality with a high level of independence and integrity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advance level in both spoken and written English.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexible with business trips (both in the country and abroad)
 </li>
