The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $18.28-$27.40 per hour

About the role 
Director Regional Procurement &ndash; East Region 
It is not often that a role comes along that provides you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in Procurement transformation with a leading firm in its industry. 
Reworld Waste is seeking an effective leader with a solid track record of procurement and supply management performance that can lead our East Region&rsquo;s Procurement function. 
The Director of Regional Procurement &ndash; East will lead a team of supply management professionals, managing a spend of $300 million, across 30 Facilities working for the world leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions poised for global sourcing expansion. 
Now to the specifics of the role:
o Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, East, you will lead the management of supplies and services to six key sites supporting a multi-plant environment in the East region; and provide functional guidance to sourcing professionals supporting those locations.
o Your role will span strategic, tactical, and transactional supply management activities. Key spend categories include Mechanical Parts, Pressure Parts, MRO, Contractor Services, Temp Labor, among others.. You will also be called upon to contribute to the broader supply management agenda - demonstrating the right values and behaviors with high emotional intelligence in working with a disbursed stakeholder base. 
Specific Areas of Responsibilities:
o Provide leadership, set the direction, and ensure delivery performance of the region&rsquo;s procurement organization aligned with the broader Procurement agenda.
o Deliver procurement&rsquo;s contribution to Outage Optimization (plant maintenance &amp; turnarounds), engineering and construction of new plants, and capital projects at existing facilities
o Develop regional category strategies (leveraging the required market intelligence) and actionable procurement and project plans to optimize the company&rsquo;s spend for the region. An expansion of procurement involvement in areas of spend not currently managed is anticipated. Key spend categories include Mechanical Parts, Pressure Parts, MRO, Contractor Services, Temp Labor, among others.
o Drive robust P2P processes using continuous improvement (CI) methodologies and technology to improve information flow and velocity
o Support the Global Sourcing Initiative to achieve a step change in demand placed with &ldquo;low-cost country sources&rdquo; / high value regions of the world (mainly Asia in the near term)
o Develop staff capabilities through effective coaching, oversight, &amp; delegation
o Utilize and oversee the eRFx / Reverse Auction processes as a tool for maximizing commodity, parts and services savings
o Effectively manage supplier relationships to optimize service, quality, and cost
o Track and manage procurement KPIs that progress the function to achieve &ldquo;world class&rdquo; excellence
o Ensure savings initiatives spanning cost reduction, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement, rebates, working capital, etc. are accurately documented, reviewed, reported and transferred to the annual operating budgets and long-term strategic plans
o Direct process improvement initiatives - instituting best practices guided by an effective change management process (MoC) that delivers benchmark return on investment (ROI)

Education:
Minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s degree; preferably Supply Chain, Finance, or technical discipline; MBA desirable 
Experience:
10-15 years of procurement and supply management experience within a complex, global and technology driven organization 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Significant strength in negotiation with demonstrated success in negotiating beneficial contracts
o Experience with eRFx / Reverse Auctions with a variety commodities, products and services, including knowledge of the process and software used
o Knowledge of PeopleSoft ERP (or SAP) and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
o Accomplished in managing to, and reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs)
Solid understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling, contracts, and change management

About the role
Job Description
Reporting to the Midwest Regional Sr. HR Manager, the multi-site HR Manager will have HR responsibility for our operations in the Midwest Region including; Avon, Avon Lake, Medina, and Bedford, OH. Partnering with Facility Managers at all locations, this role will coach and lead the business on employee relations, performance management, succession planning, org design, staffing, talent development, and compensation.
 Responsibilities<ul><li>
Coach facility managers on employee relations through the consistent and equitable application of company policies and procedures; conduct investigations and work with legal as needed.</li><li>
Drive recruitment efforts within the assigned facilities; partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs. Partner with regional Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategies for open and future roles and provide support and guidance in the recruitment process. Build effective partnerships with local communities, universities, and vocational schools to help source talent for open roles with a focus on improving diversity, equity and inclusion.</li><li>
Guide managers in the areas of compensation, compliance, talent development, succession planning, performance management, retention strategies, and general HR practices.</li><li>
Deliver corporate HR initiatives and programs effectively throughout your sites, developing effective change management strategies locally to drive adoption.</li><li>
Proactively engage with the Midwest Region HR team to problem solve, best practice share, and drive region-wide improvement opportunities with a lean mindset.</li><li>
Create an environment of positive employee relations; balance business needs with employee needs, establish trust and credibility with employees and leaders, be seen as trusted resource who delivers on actions.</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
5+ yrs experience in human resources or Masters in Human Resources with 2+ years experience in human resources experience; experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. Masters degree preferred.</li><li>
A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to independently prioritize workload effectively.</li><li>
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>
Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems; workday experience a plus</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practices</li><li>
Knowledge of Lean Principles a plus</li></ul>
