This role is ideal for a passionate storyteller with a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of media landscapes, and a keen interest in business, finance, and current affairs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of Money Petrol and delivering impactful, engaging content to our growing audience.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Research, pitch, and write original news articles, features, interviews, and opinion pieces aligned with Money Petrol&rsquo;s editorial standards.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Cover breaking news, press events, and industry developments relevant to finance, business, innovation, and markets.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Conduct thorough interviews with industry experts, executives, and stakeholders to develop credible and compelling stories.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Collaborate closely with editors, multimedia teams, and digital marketing to enhance content quality and visibility.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure all content adheres to journalistic ethics, accuracy, and legal standards.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Monitor financial markets, government policies, and economic trends to identify stories with high reader relevance.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Optimize written content for digital formats including SEO, headlines, and social media sharing.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, content-driven environment without compromising quality.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Occasionally represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and media briefings.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or a related field.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Minimum of
 
 
 3 years of professional journalism experience
 
 
 &ndash; preferably in financial, business, or investigative reporting.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong portfolio demonstrating versatile writing skills across formats (news, features, interviews, reports).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent command of English &ndash; both written and verbal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of UAE and GCC media and business environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong editorial judgment and fact-checking ability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with CMS platforms, newsroom tools, SEO practices, and digital publishing workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, self-driven attitude.
 </li>
