<div>The Quality Lead at the Saybrook isostatic refractories plant plays a pivotal role in ensuring product consistency, managing ISO9001 quality management system, and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve issues. Reporting to the Quality and Technical Manager for multiple plants, the Quality Lead guides a team of technicians and contributes to strategic plant decisions. 


What You&rsquo;ll Do<div> 
</div>
<ul><li>Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety protocols and regulations.</li>
<li>Lead and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 systems.</li>
<li>Conduct internal audits and coordinate external certifications.</li>
<li>Analyze process data to identify trends and reduce product variation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with production, technical, and customer-facing teams to resolve quality issues.</li>
<li>Supervise and develop quality technicians, promoting a culture of accountability.</li>
<li>Report on key quality metrics and contribute to plant-wide strategic decisions.</li></ul> 


What You Bring 

<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or quality assurance, preferably in isostatic or pressed refractories.</li>
<li>Experience with ISO systems, statistical process control, and CAPA.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Associates degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office and quality software tools.</li>
<li>Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.</li></ul>
