<div></div><div><div><div><b>Summary of Job: </b>The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. The LPN position also identifies the need for medical attention and alerts the Physician and/or RN of medical concerns.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div><ul><li><b>Guest Care &amp; Advocacy:</b>
<ul><li>Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.</li>
<li>Coordinates care including assisting individuals with making medical and/or other Provider appointments as needed.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Compliance &amp; Risk Management:</b>
<ul><li>Assists with intake process.</li>
<li>Collects blood or urine specimens and arranges transport to lab as ordered.</li>
<li>Monitors care of individuals to include monitoring of medications under the supervision of the RN.</li>
<li>Oversees and maintains medication records in accordance with policy and State Regulations.</li>
<li>Completes clinical documentation as required.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.</li>
<li>Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Cross Functional Collaboration:</b>
<ul><li>Provides support to Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, which includes treatment and discharge planning.</li>

<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited LPN program.</li>
<li>Current and valid LPN license.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Experience:</b>
<ul><li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.</li>
<li>Thorough comprehension of psychiatric nursing preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.</li>
<li>Ability to work with agitated guest in crisis and their families to implement behavioral management interventions.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Skills:</b>
<ul><li>Basic computer skills.</li>
<li>Ability to pay close attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to problem solve.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li>Effective listening skills.</li>
<li>Excellent clinical documentation skills.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.</li>

<ul><li>If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy.</li>
<li>If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Miscellaneous Requirement(s):</b>
<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.</li>
<li>Travel required based on business need.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.</li>
<li>Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable.</li>
