Job Duties:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Oversee all quality control functions for ready-mix concrete production, including plant and field operations.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet performance, specification, and cost requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, DOT, and local/state specifications and standards.</li><li>Manage testing of raw materials, fresh concrete, and hardened concrete (slump, air, unit weight, cylinders, cores, etc.)</li><li>Supervise, train, and evaluate QC technicians.</li><li>Implement and enforce quality control procedures, policies, and documentation.</li><li>Work closely with operations, bath personnel, sales, and dispatch to maintain consistency and resolve production issues.</li><li>Promote and enforce safety policies and best practices within QC and laboratory operations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)</li><li>Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in ready-mix concrete quality control or materials testing.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and DOT concrete standards and testing procedures.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to travel to plants and job sites.</li></ul>Riccelli-Northern is an American-owned and operated company proudly delivering American products on American soil with the help of American workers.
