This unique opportunity allows you to practice in both our Greenville and Simpsonville locations, serving a diverse patient base while delivering top-tier, comprehensive dental care.
We are seeking a clinician with a broad and confident skill set &mdash; someone who excels in general dentistry but is also comfortable with advanced procedures such as:<ul>
<li>Non-molar and molar endodontics
</li><li>Implant placement and restoration
</li><li>Surgical extractions
</li><li>Complex full-mouth restorations

<li>Proficiency across general dentistry and comfort in advanced procedures (endodontics, implants, surgery, Invisalign, etc.).

</li><li>Experience with dental practice software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).</li>

Comprehensive General Dentist: Tuesday-Friday

<div>Associate Dentist 
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Dentist (AD) is responsible for administering, maintaining, and expanding a program of primary (and in selected cases, secondary) care and preventive dental care in a group practice setting. ADs play a leadership role in the office and are expected to partner with Office Managers to drive positive culture and performance. The AD reports to the Chief Dental Officer.
JOB DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS<ul>
<li>Consistently model the core values and code of conduct of Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry</li>
<li>Provide hands-on patient care as scheduled each week</li>
<li>Reviews and follows all dental office protocols, policies, and procedures including use of lab and supply formulary</li>
<li>Perform quality clinical and radiographic evaluations to diagnose and treat diseases of the oral cavity</li>
<li>Promote oral health by providing educational information on all phases of preventive and restorative dentistry and oral hygiene</li>
<li>Document and follow treatment plans that include appropriate preventive and restorative therapy</li>
<li>Manage medical/dental history with a comprehensive evaluation of the patient's general health
</li><li>Address all contraindications pertaining to treatment and identify patient's chief complaint or reason for visit</li>
<li>Ensures necessary diagnosis and coding is properly documented</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with OSHA and dental board procedures</li>
<li>Guide professional staff to consistently deliver services that are at or above dentistry standards of care</li>
<li>Participate in assessments/interviews of applicant hygienists and dental assistants, and provide feedback to Operations, HR and Clinical leaders
</li><li>Assist in the training of new hygienists and dental assistants</li>
<li>Provide input to OM for annual performance reviews of all office team members</li>
<li>Consistently attend and participate in daily huddle</li>
<li>As requested, assist the OM with clinically-related patient concerns, by reviewing charts and contacting patients as needed</li>
<li>Escalate significant patient concerns via the Risk Management tracking platform</li>
<li>As requested, assist Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) as needed with insurance denial appeals, credentialing, coding, or other billing issues identified in the office</li>

<li>Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school</li>
<li>Valid state dental license and malpractice insurance</li>
<li>Valid DEA license</li>
<li>Current CPR Certification</li>
