Rice Lake Weighing System

<div>This person will work closely with Marketing Specialists, Graphic Designers and VP of Marketing, to design and produce:
<ul>
<li>POS literature</li>
<li>Photography and Image editing, product and application images</li>
<li>Technical diagrams</li>
<li>Tradeshow graphics/signage</li>
<li>Vehicle Wraps</li>
<li>Product/ packaging design</li>
<li>Web concepts and design</li>
<li>Video/animation</li>
<li>Multimedia presentations</li>
</ul>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, TASKS &amp; SKILLS:
<ul>
<li>Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Suite programs, namely Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.</li>
<li>Additional programs: After Effects, Sketchup, Solidworks, XD</li>
<li>Assist and help train entering graphic designers with regards to best practices, software and company styles</li>
<li>Proof and edit collateral for design, adherence to RLWS graphic standards, understandability and image quality</li>
<li>Write up quote requests and PO requests, compare quotes and quality of vendors to choose the appropriate vendor for the project</li>
<li>Review new vendors</li>
<li>Consult with appropriate company entities or research how a product works or concepts to produce understandable and relevant graphic materials</li>
<li>Photographs of products for print collateral and web</li>
<li>Onsite photo shoots</li>
<li>Continual training/growth on relevant computer programs and design trends</li>
<li>Able to mentor and train other designers with regards to best practices, software and company styles</li>
<li>Exceptional sense of design and attention to details</li>
<li>Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities those projects and manage deadlines</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Drive to learn new programs, new processes</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment</li>
<li>Ability to self-assess your design work and assist others with constructive criticism on design</li>
</ul>
Related Duties:
<ul>
<li>Remain current with industry trends by attending seminars, reading current literature and maintaining membership in professional organizations.</li>
<li>Stay current with new developments in desktop publishing graphic software.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Skills, Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>BA/BS in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising and 5 years related experience.</li>
<li>Experience with current design software.</li>
<li>InDesign, Photoshop, Illustration experience required</li>
<li>Broad knowledge of electronic media and print production.</li>
<li>Excellent creative and conceptualization skills.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional graphic design skills.</li></ul></div>
