<div><p><b>Job Summary:</b><br>
The Resolution Consultant is part of the Revenue Cycle process team. They facilitate the Richter policies and procedures to affect the accurate and timely billing and collection process of client revenue.</p><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Provides insurance verification, claim submits follow-up up, denial management and remit review</li><li>Responds to Patient Billing Inquiries</li><li>Handles daily billing calls on behalf of assigned clients/accounts</li><li>Follow up on billing inquiries made after hours</li><li>Follow up on billing concerns from residents, family and staff</li><li>Complete tracking worksheets</li><li>Performs Billing and Collection Functions</li><li>Completes billing and collection efforts on behalf of all payer types</li><li>Performs Private or Self Pay collection procedures</li><li>Performs patient account analysis</li><li>Completes basic bookkeeping functions (census or charge entry, cash application, adjustment processing)</li><li>Generates and submit billing for all pay sources timely and accurately</li><li>Documents billing and collection activity in accordance with Richter Healthcare Consultants policy and procedure</li><li>Works effectively within client and/or Richter Healthcare Consultants billing systems</li><li>Communicates and responds to inquiries by client staff, co-workers, and other party representatives</li><li>Performs Accounts Receivable Cleanup</li><li>Set-up clean-up spreadsheet (Richter template)</li><li>Prioritize accounts by age and amount</li><li>Analyze each account to verify accuracy of balance</li><li>Resubmit and/or follow-up on outstanding accounts</li><li>Perform all denial management and collections procedures to obtain payment</li><li>Document all activities on client AR thoroughly in billing software</li><li>Report project status to clients weekly via reports, documentation in software or AR calls as directed</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><div><b>
Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>High School Diploma, Associate's Degree preferred</li><li>3 &ndash; 5 years of professional billing experience, preferably in a healthcare environment</li></ul>
&bull; Must possess extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid requirements, procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to healthcare providers&bull; Must have the ability to make independent decisions<br>
<ul><li>Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with team members, other staff, residents of client facilities, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public</li><li>Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices</li><li>Must possess a high degree of attention to detail and best practice as it relates to client data</li><li>Must possess basic computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word</li></ul></div></div>

SNF/LTC - AR Resolution Consultant

<div><p><b>Job Summary: </b>The role's primary responsibility is to be a part of the Revenue Cycle process team. Facilitating Richter's policies and procedures to maintain accurate census and payer demographics for successful billing for multiple client assignments.</p><p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Performs maintenance and reconciliation of daily census</li><li>
Evaluates client demographics and payer set up reviews</li><li>
Communicates daily with clients to ensure retrieval of census reporting</li><li>
Reviews appropriate system dashboard and/or reports daily to reconcile census, past period adjustments, resident rates, and payer trees for proper set up (coinsurance, patient liability, etc.)</li><li>
Identifies, verifies, and resolves Insurance and authorizations required for timely billing within the appropriate systems</li><li>
Escalates census, demographics, and payer issues with management and client</li><li>
Research payer source, set up and contract information for client assignments as needed</li><li>
Enters ancillaries via data entry/import of Pharmacy, Lab, XRay, Oxygen and Medical Supplies</li><li>
Reconcile ancillary invoices to census, addressing discrepancies and ensuring appropriate charge capture</li><li>
Runs month end reporting for all revenue captured prior to month end close</li><li>
Manage Month End Task Tracker and Ancillary Tracker per facility on month end checklist</li><li>
Participates in daily team huddle and individual touchpoint with Associate Manager/Manager</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
High School Diploma required, College degree preferred</li><li>
Three to Five years experience in client/patient Intake</li><li>
Must possess an extensive knowledge of payers and insurance companies</li><li>
Ability to understand demographics, ancillary reporting, and insurance payments</li><li>
Possesses strong organizational and follow up skills</li><li>
Strong critical thinking skills</li><li>
Possess a high degree of attention to detail and best practice as it relates to client data</li><li>
Possess basic computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>
Experience working within CRM and EHR software preferred but not required</li></ul><p><b>
Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, including neck rotation and sitting for long periods of time</li><li>
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery</li><li>
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.</li><li>

SNF/LTC - Client Data Specialist

<div><p>Objectives:<br>
The role's primary responsibility is ensuring staff execution of tasks in a compliant manner associated with Richter's policies and procedures. The Associate Manager will provide leadership to team members and positively impact the accurate and timely billing and collection processes for Richter's revenue cycle clients.</p><div><br>
Responsibilities:<br>
<ul><li>Monitors daily staff activities, assigns A/R follow up tasks, reviews daily denials management activity, ensures timely billing and claims processing, communicate clearly staff expectations, etc.</li><li>Reviews client accounts receivables to identify payers for focused staff follow-up and assigning focused project work</li><li>Acts as the liaison between client representatives and staff when there is a need for escalation</li><li>Identifies staff members who are non-compliant with Richter policies and procedures and help identify the proper action plans that will assist the staff in course correction</li><li>Escalates and quantifies issues to the Manager when items require immediate attention including staffing deficiencies, client workflow gaps, and any item that would require process improvement or create risk to Richter process</li><li>Works with Manager to create a strategic plan to complete tasks of the billing specialist in the event of staff shortage or immediate need</li><li>Meets regularly with staff to review tasks and obtain feedback to ensure understanding of workflow and areas of concerns that may require additional training</li><li>Reviews regularly reports and dashboards to ensure that performance targets are being met</li><li>Analyzes client data and identify trends within the revenue cycle process to provide feedback to our clients and team members</li><li>Provides input to the Manager to assist in the creation of the Client Management letter including understanding of Richter activities for the prior month</li><li>Works with senior leadership in recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members including testing of technical skills and ability to perform assigned tasks based on Richter processes</li><li>Supports the development of trainingjob aids, utilized daily to ensure understanding of Richter processes</li><li>Ensures skill sets are updated through continuing education of the long term post-acute care revenue cycle industry including seminars, articles, and review of payer related updates</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><div>
Qualifications:<br>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred</li><li>Supervisory experience preferred but not required</li><li>Five years of billing experience in the Post-Acute Care setting (SNF, Home Health, and Hospice)</li><li>Post-Acute Care billing software knowledge preferred</li><li>An extensive knowledge of billing and collections requirements, claims procedures, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to LTPAC healthcare providers</li><li>Ability to make decisions and communicate with team members effectively</li><li>Must communicate tactfully with all Richter employees, residents of client facilities, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public</li><li>Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices</li><li>Must possess a high degree of attention to detail and best practice as it relates to revenue cycle management</li><li>Computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word</li></ul></div><div>
