 The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members following the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
 
 
 <ul>

 Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document and reassess any significant changes in patient condition in compliance with facility policy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify the accuracy of patient records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures and the care plan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, such as communication, interpersonal, and social skills, as well as basic principles of physical health.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient's response to the intervention.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the patient's advocate and ensure patient rights are upheld.

 Your Experience Matters What We&rsquo;re Looking For
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
 </li>
 <li>
 CPR/First Aid and CPI Trained and certified.

 This is a

 , non-exempt role, and the expected compensation range is between $31.50 and $40.00/hour,
 
 plus a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus
