Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, family law, and litigation. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in legal research and documentation. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings while ensuring compliance with all legal procedures.Duties<ul><li>Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.</li><li>Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.</li><li>Manage case files and maintain organized document management systems.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.</li><li>Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.</li><li>Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case progress.</li><li>Support attorneys with project management tasks related to ongoing litigation or legal matters.</li><li>Review documents for relevance and accuracy as part of the discovery process.</li><li>Ensure compliance with UCC law, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, patent law, tribal law &amp; regulations, and securities law as applicable to cases.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support including scheduling meetings and managing attorney calendars.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous paralegal experience is required; familiarity with various areas of law is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in PCLaw and iManage software is advantageous.</li><li>Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and transcription.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform clerical tasks such as filing and maintaining organized records.</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette with strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.</li><li>Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience in legal case management is essential; familiarity with document review processes is a plus.
