About the Role</div><div>
Ridwell is hiring a dynamic Operations Supervisor to take our Bellingham market to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to optimize our Bellingham operations, foster a high-performing team, and deliver outstanding service to our members.</div><div></div><div><br>
As Operations Supervisor, you&rsquo;ll be the on-site lead in Bellingham, partnering with our Seattle-based Senior Operations Manager to own the market&rsquo;s operations. You'll lead and develop a small, dedicated team while creating a positive culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Your leadership skills should inspire excellence in fast-paced environments, complemented by creative problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach. Outstanding communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential.</div><div></div><div><br>
This hands-on leadership position requires comfort working in warehouse environments and driving in various weather conditions. Join us in helping Bellingham households reduce waste and create a stronger local environmental impact.</div><div></div><div><br>
Compensation: $30 per hour</div><div></div><div><br>
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Team members are on-site during a broad window of 6:30 a.m.&ndash;6:00 p.m., but you won&rsquo;t be expected to cover the entire span. The schedule can be adjusted based on operational needs.</div><div></div><div><br>
The warehouse is located East of the Bellingham Golf and Country Club.</div>

Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Manage, train, and develop employees by providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure lasting team engagement and motivation.</li><li>
Oversee work assignments and scheduling to ensure timely completion of daily pickup routes while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.</li><li>
Coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs by overseeing regular maintenance schedules, managing repairs, and ensuring the fleet meets safety standards and is operational.</li><li>
Step in as a backup driver when necessary to ensure that all scheduled stops are completed without delay, ensuring continuity of service and maintaining member happiness.</li><li>
Lead warehouse operations, focusing on optimizing workflow, increasing operational efficiency, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall performance.</li><li>
Conduct inventory counts of bins, bags, and supplies as needed, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and managing inventory to avoid shortages</li><li>
Own the Bellingham operation&rsquo;s budget, driving cost efficiency and revenue growth to improve overall profit margins.</li><li>
Optimize and report on team performance to identify areas for improvement and take action to meet or exceed operational goals.</li><li>
Adjust staffing in response to changing business needs, ensuring that the team is properly staffed to meet peak demands and seasonal fluctuations.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements</b></h3><ul><li>
2+ years of management experience, with a proven track record in managing hourly employees.</li><li>
Proactive and hands-on, able to take initiative, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and handle ambiguity with confidence.</li><li>
Strong sense of ownership over both your work and your team, ensuring accountability and successful outcomes.</li><li>
Growth mindset, constantly seeking learning opportunities and improvements in all activities.</li><li>
Experience hiring and training teams, with a focus on developing talent for long-term success. Warehouse experience is a plus.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead, report on performance, and collaborate across teams.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
