Maintenance TechnicianPosition Title: Maintenance TechnicianDepartment: MaintenanceReports To: Maintenance ManagerExperience: 2&ndash;3 years (manufacturing / process industry preferred)Role PurposeTo ensure uninterrupted plant operation by carrying out daily preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and support for utilities (DG, panels, motors, drives, compressors, boilers etc.).Required Qualification<ul><li>ITI / Diploma &ndash; Electrical</li><li>Hands-on industrial maintenance exposure (mandatory)</li></ul>Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Maintenance &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Perform daily preventive maintenance checks across production lines and utilities.</li><li>Take and record EV/Energy readings; update log sheets and MIS.</li><li>Inspect MCC panels, DBs, cabling, earthing, and lighting circuits.</li><li>Check diesel generator: fuel level, oil level, battery health, load sharing.</li></ul>Breakdown &amp; Troubleshooting<ul><li>Attend electrical breakdowns and restore equipment safely.</li><li>Diagnose motor faults (overheating, tripping, bearing noise, winding).</li><li>Troubleshoot VFDs, relays, contactors, timers, and control circuits.</li></ul>Scheduled Maintenance<ul><li>Execute PM schedules (weekly / monthly / quarterly).</li><li>Support annual shutdown maintenance activities.</li></ul>Material &amp; Spares<ul><li>Maintain minimum stock for spares (fuses, relays, bearings, cables).</li><li>Raise material requirements and follow up with stores/purchase.</li></ul>Safety<ul><li>Strictly follow LOTO procedures.</li><li>Maintain housekeeping in panel rooms and maintenance workshop.</li><li>Support electrical safety audits and compliance.</li></ul>Skills Required<ul><li>Strong electrical troubleshooting capability</li><li>Basic PLC/VFD exposure preferred</li><li>Ability to read electrical drawings</li><li>Knowledge of industrial safety standards</li></ul>Salary -NegotiableJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
