About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Superintendent, Electrical Maintenance &amp; Engineering to lead our team of electrical engineering professionals, providing expert advice and support to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of our operational plans.
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing &ndash; Building a Zero Harm Commitment:<ul><li>
Design and Organize: Develop an effective asset management function that aligns people, processes, systems, technology, measures, and benchmarks.</li><li>
Lead and Manage: Oversee teams and resources, setting role and competency requirements to meet strategic objectives and plans.</li><li>
Collaborate: Work with product groups, business units, and sites to share learnings and support replication opportunities.</li><li>
Prioritize Safety: Establish safety as the key priority for all operational strategies, policies, and processes.</li><li>
Model Safety Discipline: Ensure rigorous safety practices through proactive behaviors and clear expectations for all employees and contractors.</li><li>
Maximize Efficiency: Drive significant cost reductions and establish rigorous cost discipline to maximize free cash flow.</li><li>
Achieve Operational Excellence: Safeguard turnaround objectives in mining, smelting, refining, and rail operations.</li><li>
Communicate Effectively: Provide clear performance updates to leaders and key stakeholders, proposing solutions to challenges and initiatives to seize opportunities.</li><li>
Identify Improvements: Direct improvement opportunities within electrical asset systems and processes.</li><li>
Manage Resources: Plan and manage budget and resources for electrical systems at the Smelter and Refinery to ensure asset health over a 2-5 year outlook.</li><li>
Collaborate Across Departments: Work effectively with multiple departments to ensure electrical standards are followed.</li></ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring (Minimum Requirements):<ul><li>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering or licensed Electrician in a related field.</li><li>
Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing professionals in the field of expertise.</li><li>
Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.</li></ul>
Bonus Points if You Have:<ul><li>
Compliance: Experience ensuring site compliance with electrical engineering standards and regularly reviewing these standards.</li><li>
Project Management: Expertise in overseeing electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-standard completion.</li><li>
Leadership: Ability to lead a team of professionals to safely and productively deliver department objectives.</li></ul>

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of up to 15 members in executing maintenance activities to ensure our asset management processes are followed consistently. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and longevity of our Boron plant, while performing ongoing improvement initiatives and innovative maintenance plans.

While working, you&rsquo;ll report to the Maintenance Superintendent, and your duties will include:<ul><li>
Leading the team to complete plant maintenance activities in a safe and efficient way.</li><li>
Understanding and applying approved maintenance work processes while ensuring compliance with planned and scheduled work orders.</li><li>
Allocating maintenance coverage for breakdowns and resolving issues related to planned maintenance activities, maintenance shutdowns, etc.</li><li>
Distributing work to team members and collaborating with planners and other supervisors to plan and schedule work activities.</li><li>
Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and soliciting input from other team members.</li></ul>
What you&rsquo;ll bring<ul><li>

A high school diploma GED.</li><li>
A valid state driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
5+ years of experience in maintenance, operations or similar fields.</li><li>
Experience supervising a team.</li><li>
Mechanical or Electrical Experience in manufacturing or troubleshooting mining equipment.</li><li>
Computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li><li>
Knowledge of MSHA regulations.</li></ul>
