 Rippling&rsquo;s HR Products org is building the foundation that helps companies hire and manage talent globally. This SDE-2 role sits in the team owning Global Contractors, Compliance, and Work Authorization&mdash;a highly strategic product area that powers Rippling&rsquo;s Global Expansion efforts. What you will need
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who has a strong product-building mindset and thrives in high-ownership environments. Key expectations from the role include:<ul><li>
Product Development Experience: Hands-on experience building scalable products end-to-end. Should have been closely involved in defining and delivering both small and large-scale projects.</li><li>
Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both within India and globally. Strong collaboration and coordination skills are essential.</li><li>
Execution-Driven: Should be execution-oriented with a clear understanding of how to set up roadmaps, define milestones, and drive outcomes.</li><li>
People Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role and prior experience of 7-8 years as an Individual Contributor. Must have experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.</li><li>

About the Role</h3>
Rippling is seeking an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Specialist to join our growing Financial Crime Compliance Team. This role combines operational investigations with second-line compliance responsibilities. You will lead in-depth EDD reviews of high-risk customers, with a particular focus on customers operating in HR-related industries, while also contributing to the ongoing build-out and scaling of Rippling&rsquo;s EDD program. The role focuses on strengthening EDD policies and procedures while partnering closely with Sales and Product teams to embed scalable risk controls into customer onboarding workflows and internal compliance tools&mdash;enabling faster, more confident deal execution and improved customer experience.

What You Will Do</h3><ul><li>

Compile and maintain detailed risk profiles and documentation to meet AML/KYC standards.</li><li>

What You Will Need</h3><ul><li>
3+ years of AML/KYC compliance experience, including 2+ years focused on Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) or high-risk customer reviews.</li><li>
Experience conducting compliance investigations in first-line and/or second-line roles</li><li>
Experience working with multi-jurisdictional AML requirements, particularly with the US and Canada.</li><li>
Strong understanding of financial crime typologies, regulatory obligations (e.g., BSA, FinCEN), and conducting risk assessments for complex entities.</li><li>
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
