Job Description 
The Clinical Epic Analyst plays a vital role in coordinating, optimizing, and maintaining Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with a primary focus on Epic. This role works closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure EHR systems effectively support providers and improve patient care. The analyst applies expertise in Epic applications, workflow analysis, and problem-solving to deliver successful implementations and continuous improvements across EHR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Epic System Management: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and configure Epic EHR functionality and modules, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and organizational goals. Serves as a subject matter expert on Epic configuration and customization.</li><li>
Workflow Optimization: Analyzes clinical and administrative workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Partners with product and informatics teams to translate user needs into effective Epic system configurations that enhance efficiency and user experience.</li><li>
Training &amp; User Support: Provides training, documentation, and troubleshooting for Epic applications. Supports Risant Health product and informatics teams, ensuring end-users are proficient and issues are resolved quickly.</li><li>
Data Reporting &amp; Compliance: Uses Epic reporting tools to extract and analyze healthcare data for decision-making, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Develops and maintains custom reports and dashboards to support data integrity and organizational needs.</li><li>
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinates with Risant Health, affiliated organizations, and KP IT teams to ensure EHR systems meet provider needs and improve workflows. Maintains an inventory of functionality gaps, workflow requirements, and prioritized projects.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
Education<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li></ul>
Experience<ul><li>
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a clinical, healthcare IT, or informatics setting.</li><li>
At least two (2) years of direct, hands-on experience with Epic.</li><li>
Experience with select Epic modules is highly preferred; candidates are not expected to have experience in all areas. Relevant modules include: Ambulatory, Inpatient/ClinDoc, Cadence, MyChart, Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench, Beaker, Radiant, Willow, Bridges and Grand Central.</li></ul>
Required Technical Competencies<ul><li>
Proven experience with Epic EHR systems, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.</li><li>
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical terminology, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).</li><li>

Additional Information 
Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $106,000 &ndash; $134,200 depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for comprehensive benefits package, including wellness programs, retirement savings, and relocation support as applicable. This role is hybrid with an office location in Washington, D.C. Up to 25% travel is required.

Job Description 
The Data &amp; Analytics (D&amp;A) team delivers strategic insights, analytics products, and decision-support capabilities across Risant Health, Risant Health&rsquo;s Value-Based Platform (VBP) and Risant Health Organizations (RHOs), and Kaiser Permanente (KP). Through four key pillars&mdash;Risant Strategic Analytics, VBP/Solution Intelligence, RHO Support &amp; Enablement, and Foundational Capabilities&mdash;the team translates data into actionable intelligence that drives clinical quality improvement, total cost of care reduction, better experiences for members and clinicians, and health equity.
The Analytics Program Manager for Foundational Platform owns the business requirements, product strategy, and delivery coordination for Risant's core data and analytics infrastructure (part of D&amp;A&rsquo;s Foundational Capabilities pillar). This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring the platform delivers scalable, high-quality data and analytic capabilities that enable operations and strategic analytics across D&amp;A pillars. The Analytics Program Manager for Foundational Platform will ensure immediate needs are served through interim platform capabilities while pursuing the long-term architecture vision that is needed for Risant.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Program Management &amp; Roadmap Planning: Coordinate delivery for the Foundational Platform build, balancing across interim solution build and long-term platform implementation. Working closely with Risant Technology and business partners, define and maintain a roadmap with tracked dependencies and release schedule that consists of sprints that combine data, analytic and technology outputs that cumulatively deliver business value.
Business &amp; Requirements Ownership: Partner closely with business teams to drive alignment between strategic goals and execution scope. Own business requirements gathering and documentation for the platform, including for member/patient master data management (MDM), provider MDM/hierarchy, and other core data models. Translate business needs from analytics pods, RHOs and other stakeholders into requirements for Architecture &amp; Engineering teams and coordinate with those teams on technical designs to ensure capabilities meet business requirements and scalability needs. Lead acceptance testing (UAT and BAT) for all releases.
Standards Definition and Governance: Establish and govern source data onboarding process, metric definitions, calculation / methodology logic, and data quality standards. Document and maintain data contracts between Risant, RHOs and third-party vendors as needed.
Vendor &amp; Partner Coordination: Co-manage (with Risant Technology) third-party vendors and partners as needed, identifying co-development activities and ensuring performance expectations and service levels are met.
Budget and Investment Oversight: Partner with D&amp;A Portfolio Lead and Risant Technology partners to prioritize platform investments against competing analytics delivery needs. Support budget planning and vendor procurement processes for platform tools, technologies, and services.
Risk &amp; Change Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating when necessary. Drive platform adoption across analytic pods and other Risant stakeholders through robust change management that includes stakeholder communications, training and cutover planning.
Platform Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor platform KPIs including data quality metrics (e.g. accuracy, completeness), system performance (e.g. uptimes, usability, query speed), user adoption / satisfaction and cost efficiency. Provide executive reporting as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to ensure alignment, buy-in, and engagement throughout the platform delivery lifecycle. 
Qualifications

Seven (7) years in technical program management, data engineering, or analytics platform delivery</li><li>

Three (3) years in healthcare data environments with exposure to claims, clinical, and operational data sources (incl. third parties)</li><li>
Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)</li><li>
Experience with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and their architecture requirements</li><li>

The D&amp;A Portfolio Management Lead drives strategic portfolio management across all D&amp;A initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, optimal allocation of resources, and delivery of maximum value. This role establishes and governs intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning processes while coordinating dependencies across analytics pods, platform development, and other strategic initiatives. The Portfolio Management Lead is the central orchestrator of D&amp;A delivery, liaising with VBP teams, Risant Technology and RHO counterparts (as necessary) to balance stakeholder needs and resource constraints to maximize impact for Risant Health and RHOs.
Job Responsibilities
Portfolio Intake &amp; Prioritization: Lead portfolio intake and prioritization across D&amp;A pillars, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Serve as point of contact for new analytics requests, including adhoc requests from Risant leadership. Facilitate intake evaluation process including business impact assessment, effort estimation, and resource allocation recommendations.
Portfolio Backlog &amp; Roadmap Definition: Develop and maintain portfolio roadmap, working closely with analytic asset owners, business and clinical partners to translate complex business needs into roadmap components. Maintain roadmap through close partnership with analytics product managers / owners / program managers.
Portfolio Optimization &amp; Planning: Partner with analytic product managers / owners / program managers and D&amp;A leadership to balance competing priorities and optimize overall portfolio value. Lead quarterly portfolio planning cycles, incorporating feedback from RHOs, VBP teams, and executive stakeholders. Incorporate updates into Risant Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) as needed, working closely with D&amp;A leadership.
Cross-Pillar Coordination &amp; Continuous Improvement: Coordinate dependencies across each D&amp;A pillar, helping resolve resource conflicts and priority misalignments. Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes, tooling, and governance structures.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a liaison between D&amp;A, clinical, business, and technical stakeholders in key forums (including VBP Product Governance &ldquo;War Rooms&rdquo;).
Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor portfolio-level KPIs including delivery velocity, resource utilization, business value delivered, and stakeholder satisfaction. Provide executive reporting on portfolio health, risks, and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
Refine Analytics Strategy: Actively inform and refine Risant Health&rsquo;s analytics strategy (including standards and approaches) for data sourcing and usage, measurement methodologies and analytics deployment based on evolving portfolio needs and industry trends.
Vendor Management: In coordination with D&amp;A and other functional leaders, help manage vendor relationships and provide oversight to their performance.
