Training Delivery &amp; Curriculum Facilitation<ul><li>
Facilitate HHSC-approved Core, Mental Health First Aid, and Supplemental Peer Specialist Training to individuals seeking certification.</li><li>
Deliver instruction in-person and via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and engagement.</li><li>
Promote SAMHSA-aligned recovery principles throughout the learning experience.</li><li>
Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed instruction tailored to diverse learners.</li></ul>
Trainee Support &amp; Development<ul><li>
Foster a respectful and inclusive environment where lived experience is honored.</li><li>
Support trainee progress through coaching, feedback, and real-time clarification of course materials.</li><li>
Maintain open communication with participants before, during, and after training sessions.</li><li>
Track trainee attendance, participation, and completion status.</li></ul>
Program Support &amp; Quality Assurance<ul><li>
Assist with the collection and review of pre/post assessments, evaluations, and satisfaction surveys.</li><li>
Submit documentation and training records in accordance with HHSC guidelines and internal procedures.</li><li>
Participate in curriculum reviews, updates, and training of trainers (TOT) as needed.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Training Institute Program Manager to ensure training fidelity and effectiveness.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Required<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Certification as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) or equivalent credential within six months of hire</li><li>
Minimum of one year of experience in social services, substance use disorder support, or a related field.</li><li>
Lived experience in recovery or familiarity with recovery communities</li><li>
Experience working with youth in recovery, behavioral health, education, or social service</li><li>
Training in peer recovery coaching or a related discipline.</li><li>
Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations regarding substance use services and peer recovery models.</li><li>
Experience in program development, supervision, and performance evaluation.</li><li>
Must have a valid Texas driver license, a minimum of six (6) years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.</li><li>
Applicants must be twenty-three (23) years of age or older to comply with Rise Recovery&rsquo;s insurance requirements.</li><li>
Must maintain automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of Rise Recovery&rsquo;s auto insurance carrier if personal vehicle is driven during company business.</li><li>
Commit to ethical responsibilities, including maintaining confidentiality, establishing appropriate boundaries, and avoiding dual relationships with individuals served.</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field</li><li>
Strong leadership and team-building skills.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.</li><li>
Ability to relate respectfully to individuals from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping, and getting on and off the floor without assistance.</li><li>
Ability to walk, stand, sit for short or long periods of time.</li><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Able to operate standard office technology, equipment and utilize office supplies.</li></ul>
Working Conditions<ul><li>
Flexible setting including virtual instruction, classroom training, and occasional travel.</li><li>
Regularly scheduled hours may vary during periods of workload fluctuation.
</li><li>Occasional night, weekend and holiday hours may be necessary to support additional recovery programming and/or Rise Recovery events.</li></ul></div>
