Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy, the Senior Manager, Community Engagement will architect and lead Risepoint&rsquo;s third party community strategy. This role is responsible for representing university partners in online communities such as but not limited to Reddit, Discord, TikTok, and student forums&mdash;authentically and transparently. The Senior Manager will be a strategic connector, bringing student insights back to Risepoint teams and partners to inform marketing, content, and digital experiences. You will collaborate with Content, Digital Experience, SEO, Paid Media, Partner Success, University Relations, and Compliance to ensure community engagement strengthens trust, elevates brand perception, and delivers measurable value. This role is expected to continuously test, learn, and evolve engagement strategies that move beyond traditional formats and spark meaningful dialogue.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Community Strategy &amp; Outreach: Develop and execute community engagement strategy across Reddit, Discord, TikTok, forums, and peer networks; ensure compliance with disclosure and platform standards
</li></ul><ul><li>Community Leadership &amp; Engagement: Spark and sustain authentic dialogue; seed constructive prompts; represent universities transparently; elevate student voice.
</li><li>Insight Generation &amp; Strategic Advocacy: Monitor sentiment, surface FAQs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, content, and digital strategies.
</li><li>Cross-Functional &amp; Partner Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align messaging with student language and provide consultative support to university stakeholders.
</li><li>Measurement &amp; Reporting: Define, track, and report KPIs including sentiment, engagement quality, trust signals, and insights adoption.
</li><li>Risk, Trust &amp; Compliance: Apply legal guardrails, ensure FTC/COPPA/FERPA alignment, and maintain escalation protocols.
</li><li>Innovation &amp; Experimentation: Collaborate with Field and Integrated Marketing to design and pilot new ways to foster community conversations&mdash;leveraging emerging platforms, real-time tools, partnerships and prospective/student insights.

</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
5-7 years in social media, digital marketing, or community management (higher ed/edtech experience strongly preferred)
Additional Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Expertise in third-party communities (Reddit, Discord, TikTok, forums); strong insight mining &amp; social listening skills; proven track record converting signals into strategy; empathetic communicator; cultural fluency; stakeholder collaboration; familiarity with FTC disclosure norms and COPPA/FERPA boundaries

Senior Manager, Community Engagement

The Digital Experience team is responsible for shaping how Risepoint&rsquo;s partner university brands are represented and experienced across all digital platforms. We design, optimize, and manage engaging user-centered digital interactions that serve both prospective students and institutional partners. Our
work spans marketing websites, landing pages, and content platforms for more than 100 domestic and international university brands. We focus on responsive design, accessibility, and usability while driving performance-based outcomes such as lead generation, engagement, and conversion. 
 
The team partners closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Analytics, and Creative stakeholdersto deliver scalable digital solutions that align with business objectives. We continually evolve design practices, embrace new technologies, and uphold best-in-class standards to ensure that our digital
presence is innovative, intuitive, and effective. 
 
Job Summary
The Director, Digital Design is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of digital design across all of Risepoint&rsquo;s university partner brands. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on creative direction, ensuring consistent, user-centric, and conversion-driven digital experiences. 
 
The Director will oversee design for all digital products, including organic marketing websites and paid media landing pages, focused on lead generation and other core KPIs. They will develop and shape digital marketing and content experiences using user-centered design methods to balance user needs,
business objectives, and technology capabilities. 
 
This leader manages a team of UX/UI designers, guiding their growth while driving cross-functional col-laboration with Product, Technology, SEO, SEM, Analytics, Content, and Creative stakeholders. The role requires fluency in responsive design, UX methodologies, design systems, and front-end develop-ment trends. The Director will also be expected to use tools such as wireframes, prototypes, and usa-bility testing to define, communicate, and validate design strategies. This is a full-time, fully remote position.
