Together, we rise.The Role: The People Operations &amp; Culture Specialist is responsible for executing core human resources functions and processes that support the organization's people operations across a multi-state footprint. This role manages day-to-day HR activities including employee relations, performance management, leave administration, HRIS oversight, compliance, and manager training. The Partner will serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and ensure consistent, compliant, and effective HR practices in alignment with organizational goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Employee Relations &amp; Performance Management:&middot; Respond to and manage employee relations matters; conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions&middot; Draft and administer corrective action plans, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and separation documentation&middot; Provide coaching and support to managers regarding employee performance, conduct, and developmentHRIS &amp; Records Administration:&middot; Maintain and oversee employee data in iSolved, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to records (new hires, terminations, changes, payroll, benefits etc.)&middot; Ensure proper documentation, digital file management, and HR compliance standards are metRecruitment &amp; Compensation Support: &middot; Manage full-cycle recruitment for a handful of requisitions at any given time, including posting, screening, and coordinating interviews&middot; Support compensation benchmarking and salary range development for new roles and internal equity reviews&middot; Partner with hiring managers to ensure job descriptions and offers align with compensation strategy and market trendsLeave Administration:&middot; Manage employee leaves of absence including FMLA, ADA, personal, and workers&rsquo; compensation leaves&middot; Maintain appropriate documentation and communication with employees and management throughout the leave process&middot; Coordinate with benefits, legal, and payroll as neededCompliance &amp; Policy Execution:&middot; Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across multiple states&middot; Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures&middot; Conduct internal audits and maintain compliance trackers and logsManager Training &amp; Support:&middot; Provide training and guidance to managers on HR policies, performance management, documentation standards, and employee engagement&middot; Serve as a resource for interpreting HR policies and proceduresProjects &amp; Continuous Improvement:&middot; Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency&middot; Support initiatives related to onboarding, DEI, employee engagement, performance management, and HR system enhancements&middot; Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and projects as assignedQualifications:&middot; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred&middot; Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a generalist or HR manager capacity&middot; Experience managing HR functions in a multi-state environment; healthcare or dental industry experience preferred&middot; Proficiency in HRIS platforms, with preference for iSolved experience&middot; Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and leave administration (FMLA, ADA, etc.)&middot; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred&middot; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills&middot; Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:&middot; This is a remote position; must be based in the United States in one of the following states: CA, FL, GA, HI, IL, MN, MO, NJ, NY, WA&middot; Must be able to work in a home office environment with reliable internet access and minimal disruptions&middot; Must be available during standard U.S. business hours&middot; Occasional travel (2&ndash;4 times per year) for leadership meetings, audits, or team gatherings&middot; Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and complexity of the work being performed by personnel assigned to this classification, and do not represent an exhaustive list of all tasks, duties, and responsibilities required of personnel assigned to this position.EEO Statement:Rising Tide Dental Partnership Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
