Key Responsibilities of a Video Editor &ndash; CGI Specialist1. Video Editing &amp; Assembly<ul><li>Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content.</li><li>Maintain narrative flow, pacing, and visual coherence.</li><li>Ensure alignment with the project brief and client/stakeholder vision.</li></ul>2. CGI Integration<ul><li>Incorporate 3D assets, characters, environments, and effects into live-action or animated video.</li><li>Match lighting, shadows, and camera angles between CGI and footage for seamless integration.</li><li>Use tracking, masking, and rotoscoping where needed.</li></ul>3. Visual Effects (VFX) &amp; Compositing<ul><li>Add visual effects like explosions, particles, lighting effects, weather, and more.</li><li>Composite multiple layers and elements using tools like Adobe After Effects or Nuke.</li><li>Ensure realism or stylization depending on the project requirements.</li></ul>4. Motion Graphics &amp; Animation<ul><li>Create animated titles, lower thirds, intros/outros, and infographics.</li><li>Use motion design to enhance storytelling and visual engagement.</li><li>Sync animations with audio and visual cues.</li></ul>5. Rendering &amp; Output Preparation<ul><li>Render final videos in high quality across various formats (social media, web, TV, film).</li><li>Optimize rendering settings for efficiency without quality loss.</li><li>Ensure correct resolution, frame rate, and color profile.</li></ul>6.
