Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day functions of routing, dispatching, and other client delivery objectives at a specific profit center. This position will monitor motor carrier performance and provide feedback to motor carriers and location management. In addition, this position will assist customer care in monitoring and troubleshooting of delivery issues in a proactive and highly responsive manner. This position will spend most of their time in the office or warehouse helping to maximize the performance of the site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul><li>Facilitate day-to-day delivery operations, including the monitoring of morning loadout, delivery activity, evaluation of motor carrier needs, and customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards of the client</li>
<li>Oversee the load out process to verify that products are handled properly and loaded securely to minimize damage</li>
<li>Ensure timely reporting of loadout compliance as well as motor carrier compliance within industry fair standards and the agreed-upon communication mechanism</li>
<li>Maintain professional working relationships with location management, peers, motor carriers, client employees, and other department managers and personnel</li>
<li>Provide operational support to the distribution center team as needed, including assisting with audits and process improvements</li>
<li>Utilize client-specific routing software</li>
<li>Communicate with other departments on updates, meetings, and other as needed</li>
<li>Perform route monitoring utilizing client-specific software</li>
<li>Check in reschedules that are brought back by motor carriers</li>
<li>Process returns through the clients portal at participating locations</li>
<li>Move inventory safely using material handling equipment (as needed)</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for escalations from the client</li>
<li>Schedule orders and notify the customer of their time windows for next day delivery</li>
<li>Performing other duties as assigned (may vary based on client requirements)</li>

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required</li>
<li>Strong people and operational management skills</li>
<li>Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.)</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Routing, scheduling, and checking on delivery status</li>
