We are a small, fast-moving team dedicated to high-quality workmanship, clear communication, and an excellent homeowner experience.We are now hiring a Field Coordinator to support daily jobsite operations. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in residential construction who enjoys being in the field, identifying issues early, and keeping work flowing smoothly.Position: Field CoordinatorThis is a full-time field support role focused on daily jobsite checks, homeowner communication, blueprint review, and preparing jobs for tomorrow.You will NOT run crews or replace the superintendent, you will support the Owner/PM by being his eyes and ears in the field.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Jobsite Visits<ul><li>Visit active jobs each morning</li><li>Confirm subcontractor and worker attendance</li><li>Document daily progress with photos and videos</li><li>Identify delays, issues, or missing work</li><li>Provide updates to the Owner/PM</li></ul>Blueprint Checking &amp; Issue Spotting<ul><li>Read and understand residential remodel plans</li><li>Compare plans to field conditions</li><li>Identify obvious layout or installation errors early</li><li>Mark areas requiring correction</li><li>Report discrepancies immediately</li></ul>Homeowner Communication<ul><li>Provide calm, professional updates</li><li>Answer basic questions about daily progress</li><li>Set expectations for next-day work</li><li>Relay concerns to the Owner/PM</li></ul>Material &amp; Jobsite Readiness<ul><li>Check material levels daily</li><li>Identify shortages and send requests to office</li><li>Prepare tomorrow&rsquo;s materials list</li><li>Coordinate with PM for deliveries and pickups</li></ul>Subcontractor Coordination<ul><li>Confirm arrival times</li><li>Ensure subs understand the day&rsquo;s tasks</li><li>Clarify plan-related questions</li><li>Report any performance or communication issues</li></ul>Daily Field Reporting<ul><li>Summaries of each jobsite visited</li><li>Worker/sub attendance confirmation</li><li>Issues, risks, and delays</li><li>Photos &amp; notes sent to PM and office</li></ul>REQUIREMENTSRequired Experience (4&ndash;10 Years)<ul><li>4&ndash;10 years of residential construction experience (REMODELS required)</li><li>Strong ability to interpret residential blueprints</li><li>Experience working with multiple trades on remodel projects</li><li>Comfortable interacting professionally with homeowners</li><li>Strong field awareness and ability to identify obvious mistakes</li><li>Clean and clear communication skills (English required)</li><li>Reliable transportation and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Strong organization and documentation skills</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required)<ul><li>Assistant Superintendent, Field Coordinator, or QC experience</li><li>Background in carpentry or multi-trade work</li><li>Experience with kitchens, baths, and structural remodels</li><li>Spanish-speaking (bonus but not required)</li><li>Experience working for a small general contractor</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForA candidate who is:<ul><li>Reliable and dependable</li><li>Good at talking to homeowners</li><li>Comfortable driving to multiple jobs daily</li><li>Strong at spotting field issues early</li><li>Organized, proactive, detail-oriented</li><li>Able to support the PM&rsquo;s direction without ego</li><li>A problem-preventer, not a problem-creator</li></ul>Salary &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$32 &ndash; $35 per hour</li><li>Full-time, Monday&ndash;Friday</li><li>Stable workload year-round</li><li>Opportunity to grow internally over time</li><li>Work directly with the Owner</li><li>Supportive small-team environment</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday&ndash;Friday</li><li>Typically 7:30 AM &ndash; 4:30 PM</li><li>Travel required between jobsites in Orange County</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Field-based (majority of the day)</li><li>Active residential construction sites</li><li>Daily communication with the Owner, subcontractors, and homeowners</li></ul>Please submit your resume detailing 4&ndash;10 years of residential construction experience, specifically with remodels.
