Overview:We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various vehicles and equipment.Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel vehicles and equipment - Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts that may need replacement - Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and manuals - Assemble and disassemble engines for repair or maintenance - Perform air brake system repairs and maintenance - Provide tire services including replacements, rotations, and repairs - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performedSkills:- Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance - Experience with heavy lifting equipment and tools - Knowledge of vehicle suspension systems - Ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical components - Familiarity with HVAC systems in vehicles - Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills - Previous experience working on farm machinery is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsThis position offers competitive pay based on experience.
