After a year of rapid expansion, we&rsquo;re ready to take the next step &mdash; building stronger systems, clearer communication, and a more empowered team.We&rsquo;re looking for a Director of People &amp; Operations who can help us bring structure to our growth &mdash; managing our staff, improving our processes, and making sure every person and project is set up for success.About the RoleThe Director of People &amp; Operations is a key leadership position responsible for managing our office and administrative teams in our three offices, overseeing recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring company-wide accountability and alignment.You&rsquo;ll work closely with the CEO and department heads to create clarity around roles, performance expectations, and organizational priorities. This isn&rsquo;t a traditional HR role &mdash; it&rsquo;s a hands-on leadership position focused on building operational discipline, improving communication, and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and manage all office and administrative staff.</li><li>Develop and maintain clear job descriptions and accountability systems.</li><li>Oversee recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training for all new team members.</li><li>Partner with leadership to design and implement performance review and feedback processes.</li><li>Support managers in navigating performance conversations, promotions, and terminations.</li><li>Improve operational workflows, policies, and communication channels across departments.</li><li>Ensure smooth coordination between manufacturing, project, and office teams.</li><li>Maintain compliance with company policies and employment standards.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and VP of Operations on staffing, structure, and team culture.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>7+ years of experience in administrative operations, people management, or business administration roles.</li><li>Background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments strongly preferred.</li><li>Proven ability to manage teams, improve systems, and build accountability structures.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.</li><li>Ability to balance people-first leadership with operational efficiency.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Operations, HR, or related field (MBA a plus).</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Be part of a rapidly growing company with huge opportunity to make an impact.</li><li>Work directly with executive leadership to shape the next phase of our business.</li><li>Competitive salary.</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented culture that values initiative and ownership.</li><li>Opportunity to build systems and teams from the ground up.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
