Machinist Assistant Position Summary</b></div><div>
The Machinist Assistant position will be responsible for assembling toolboxes for the manufacturing floor according to kitting procedures.</div><div><br>
</div><div>1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm</div><br>

Responsibilities:
<div><b>
Machinist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Assemble tooling boxes and all paperwork for jobs running on the manufacturing floor</li><li>
Manage the Kitting process: part programs, set up sheets, records, and inventory</li><li>
Assemble tooling boxes per the set-up sheet</li><li>
Update documentation throughout the process- including before, during, and after the job is completed</li><li>
Inspect tools, new and returned, using a microscope and other inspection equipment</li><li>
Responsible for inventory of tools and resolving shortage issues and discrepancies</li><li>
Maintain daily logs and reports necessary to the kitting procedure</li><li>
Maintain safe and clean working environment</li><li>
Communicate with the tool crib, leadership, and production regarding kitting needs and the availability of tools and materials</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Machinist Assistant Position Requirements</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>
Understand the production operations and equipment</li><li>
Knowledge of tools
</li><li>The ability to read and understand blueprints</li><li>
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)</li><li>
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>
Organizational skills
</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li><li>

Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr. Pay Range Details:

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, <b>offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range</b>.</div>
