<div>Road Ranger, a growing multi-state travel center company, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing Accounting Department! 
 
Working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet accounts. This individual will also the overall team on various needs to ensure timely execution of departmental duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Recording and reconciling various balance sheet accounts; including but not limited to various prepaids, accrued liabilities, payroll accounts</li><li>
Participate in the month-end closing for assigned journal entries and accounts</li><li>
Specific tasks such as reconciling CIP and fixed assets, posting weekly payroll and benefit journal entries, processing monthly expense reporting platform, and assisting in local bank and cash reconciliations</li><li>
Work with auditors to support the annual audit</li><li>
Other departmental activities as required</li></ul>
Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA is preferred, but not required.</li><li>
0-2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis with general ERP experience.</li><li>
PDI experience preferred, but not required.</li></ul>
Other Qualifications:<ul><li>
Strong organizational skills and must be able to pay strict attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.</li><li>
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization.</li><li>
Excellent problem solving skills.</li><li>
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Must possess a high degree of proficiency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).</li></ul>

Working under the supervision of the General Manager, the First Assistant Manager is responsible to support the General Manager in directing and coordinating the overall Store operations of a truck stop / travel plaza. The First Assistant Manager, in the absence of the General Manager, will be responsible for the Location&rsquo;s customer service, supervision of employees, adherence to store standards, inventory management, merchandising, and maximization of sales and profits.
Pay Range: $17 to 19 per hour
