RMI is looking for the right person to join our team&mdash;an individual who is loyal, honest, and dedicated to his/her success and the success of our team.Position (Full-Time):This position seeks to recover monies owed on subrogation claims resulting from auto and/or property accidents.Pay: From $19.00 per hourJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Ability to professionally and courteously communicate orally and in writing with courts, clients, insureds, carriers, defendants in respectful manner, even under difficult circumstances;</li><li>Ability to gather appropriate information and documentation regarding amounts due;</li><li>Ability to assess individual circumstances to negotiate and identify acceptable resolutions;</li><li>Ability to exercise independent judgment and make recommendations to clients (where needed);</li><li>Ability to review work to ensure errors are avoided;</li><li>Ability to meet or exceed office and individual goals;</li><li>Accurate and efficient data entry into internal and external systems;</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office;</li><li>Ability to scan, organize and file documents;</li><li>Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs;</li><li>Word processing / typing at least 40 words/minute;</li><li>Ability to navigate court websites and obtain pertinent information a plus;</li><li>Understanding or past work in collections, insurance or legal office, or customer service call center a plus;</li><li>Integrity to maintain sensitive and confidential information;</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines;</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned</li></ul>Skills and Knowledge:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills</li><li>Problem solving, critical thinking, and time management skills</li><li>Professional appearance, dress, and behavior</li><li>Ability to operate (or learn to operate) computer applications and custom software</li><li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office software</li><li>Work well independently or in a team environment</li><li>Detail oriented and able to multi-task</li></ul>Qualifications include:<ul><li>Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent required; recent college graduates are welcome to apply</li><li>2+ years of relevant collections, legal and/or insurance experience a definite plus</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Basic Life Insurance policy</li><li>401(k) with Employer Contribution (once requirements met)</li><li>Profit Sharing (once requirements met)</li><li>PTO (once requirements met)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
