Job DescriptionPosition: Laundry WorkerLocation: Chickasha LaundryJob Description: The includes job functions such as riding along in a van or box truck to pick-up and deliver linens. The employee must count all linens and load laundry carts into box truck using lift gate. Basic requirements for application include the following:Responsibilities:&middot; Ride along in light duty box truck to perform pickup and drop-off operations for laundered itemsSkills/Abilities:&middot; Attention to detail&middot; Ability to work with hands&middot; Ability to stand for long periods of time&middot; Adherence to safety requirements and procedures as directed&middot; Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area&middot; Ability to work both in teams, and / or independently&middot; Ability to perform tasks in an efficient manner&middot; Ability to arrive at work on time daily&middot; Effective communication with supervisor and peers&middot; Ability to use machines and automated equipment (Forklift, Steam Press, Flatironer, Washers / Dryers, etc.)Driver Skills / Abilities:&middot; Ability to lift / push minimum 50 lbs&middot; Skill to manage linen counts&middot; Ability to work independently&middot; Ability to sit / stand for long periods of time&middot; Basic vehicle maintenance including checking oil, tires, re-fueling, and washing your assigned route vehicleExperience/Credentials and Qualifications:&middot; Previous experience working in an industrial / assembly operation preferred&middot; Must be over the age of 18&middot; Must have a valid drivers license as the alternate&middot; Must be able to pass background check&middot; Must have excellent driving recordWe are currently looking to fill one position for Truck Driver Helper for Chickasha Laundry. Previous experience may be substituted with educational / vocational training equivalent. Compensation is based on the federal pay scale. Our hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday &ndash; Friday. This route is run daily, with the exception of federal Holidays. This position will be full time, with benefits included (Health &amp; Welfare Hours, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave). A Drug test will be required for chosen candidate. We retain the right to reject a candidate if they do not agree to comply with our corporate policies and procedures.
