 As a DevOps Engineer at Robin Radar,
 
 you will build the systems that deliver our software directly onto radar hardware, combining managing our on-prem setup with bare metal installation knowledge
 
 . You&rsquo;ll focus on automating these deployments to make our production process faster and more consistent. By reducing manual steps, you&rsquo;ll help us scale our output and ensure our radar systems are always running the most up-to-date, high-performance software.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll be a core member of the DevOps team within our I&amp;D department. You&rsquo;ll report to a Team Lead who provides technical guidance and helps remove blockers so you can focus on building reliable infrastructure.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Automating deployments onto radar hardware using PXE network installations, turning a manual, error-prone process into something consistent and repeatable
 </li>
 <li>
 Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Bitbucket so software ships faster and more reliably
 </li>
 <li>
 Writing infrastructure-as-code, primarily in Ansible (and AWX), with Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD in the mix
 </li>
 <li>
 Containerizing high-performance native applications using Docker multi-stage builds
 </li>
 <li>
 Keeping systems monitored and observable with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki, and acting on what you see
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrating security controls into the workflow, not bolting them on at the end
 </li>
 <li>
 Documenting what you build, so the next person has a foundation to work from
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE or Linux infrastructure role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep knowledge of Linux, Ubuntu specifically.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid scripting in Python and/or Bash.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with Ansible; AWX is a strong plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with bare metal and on-prem environments, PXE experience is a real differentiator here. No bare metal background? If you have strong pipeline and Linux skills and you're eager to get into hardware-level work, we'd still like to talk.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of IP networks: configuring, monitoring, securing.
 </li>
 <li>
 You live in the Netherlands, within commuting distance of The Hague.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working in English.

 Nice to have: Kubernetes, AWX, APT repository management, VMware, cloud provider experience.

DevOps Engineer (On-Prem/Bare Metal)

 The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to directly work on our software development and will be able to build, adapt, and modify the software of our radar products. To put it in simple terms, they will develop mind blowing radar tech!

 Not only that, but you will be part of an amazing growing and Agile I&amp;D Software Engineering Team, reporting directly to the team lead, who is there to support and guide you.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working with other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
 </li>

 Give direction to software programming and documentation development.

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 A minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ Software Developer and with current knowledge of (advanced) C++ 17/20 standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience in developing and deploying software on Linux.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of multithreaded code, real-time environments and Qt.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON and XML.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with low-level hardware interactions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to develop unit tests of code components using GoogleTest.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Bitbucket or similar version control systems, Jira and Qt Creator.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of the software development life-cycle and familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
