 The Core Financial Products Engineering team&rsquo;s mission is to build secure, scalable systems that power Robinhood&rsquo;s key financial offerings and help democratize finance for all.  , you&rsquo;ll help design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure and services critical to our financial products. You&rsquo;ll gain deep insight into how the U.S. financial system works, strengthen your domain knowledge, and make a tangible impact on millions of users.  What You&rsquo;ll Do

 Design, build, test, and release backend systems with high correctness, reliability, and scalability requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and maintain key services that power our financial product ecosystem
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering and business challenges
 </li>
 <li>
 Interface with external financial institutions to integrate services and expand capabilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to shaping engineering best practices and improving developer workflows
 
 
 </li>

 What You Bring
 
 
 
 <ul>

 6 Months - 2 Years of Hands-on software engineering experience through previous roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with Python/Django or Go (or similar backend technologies)
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of relational databases and transaction-safe design
 </li>
 <li>
 Curiosity and interest in financial systems or a strong desire to learn
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong computer science fundamentals and a problem-solving mindset

 Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
