Job SummaryThe Real Estate Video Editor is responsible for enhancing and retouching property videos to create high-quality, professional, and visually appealing videos for real estate listings and marketing materials. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, technical proficiency in video editing software, and the ability to maintain a consistent visual standard that highlights each property's best features in the competitive Manhattan, KS market.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Image Enhancement: Perform comprehensive editing on raw images (Interior, Exterior, and Aerial) to meet or exceed company and client quality standards.</li><li>Corrections and Adjustments:</li><li>Adjust lighting, exposure, brightness, and contrast.</li><li>Correct color balance and white balance to ensure true-to-life representation.</li><li>Advanced Retouching:</li><li>Execute techniques such as HDR (High Dynamic Range) blending and Flambient (Flash/Ambient) blending.</li><li>Perform sky replacements and window masking to showcase exterior views.</li><li>Remove minor blemishes, distracting objects, and clutter (e.g., cords, small stains).</li><li>Workflow Management:</li><li>Manage and organize large volumes of digital assets efficiently.</li><li>Ensure a fast turnaround time for edited images, often working with tight deadlines.</li><li>Prepare final images in required file formats and resolutions for web listings (MLS, Zillow, etc.) and print.</li><li>Social Media: </li><li>Manage the social media posts</li><li>Plan social media posts out in advance</li><li>Explore new ideas of expanding the companies following</li><li>Quality Control: Maintain a high and consistent standard of visual quality across all delivered videos.</li><li>Communication: Collaborate effectively with real estate photographers, agents, and marketing staff to understand specific editing needs and branding guidelines.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Required Experience:</li><li>Photoshop</li><li>Lightroom</li><li>Bridge</li><li>Premiere</li><li>Davinici Resolve</li><li>Visual Acuity: A strong understanding of photographic principles, composition, lighting, and color theory, especially as they apply to architectural and interior spaces.</li><li>Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to spot and correct minor imperfections.</li><li>Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and manage a fast-paced workflow.</li><li>Local Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with common real estate listing requirements and architectural styles prevalent in the Manhattan, KS and surrounding &quot;Little Apple&quot; area.</li></ul>Pay Range<ul><li>$13.00-17.50/hour Based upon Experience</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>This part time role may be remote or in-office (depending on the employer).</li><li>Requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively via email, phone, and/or video conferencing.</li></ul>Pay: $13.00 - $17.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Saint George, KS 66535
