We are privately owned and self-managed by our physicians who care about the success of their people.PURPOSE: Motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider responsible for fulfilling the highest expectations of patient care to a medically diverse, primarily outpatient GI population. Passionate interest in elevating the field of GI to ensure our most vulnerable populations receive high-quality, evidence-based care.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:<ul><li>Manages the health care of a select group of patients as directed by RMG physicians.</li><li>Participates as a team in providing healthcare, interacting with professional colleagues to provide comprehensive care as a responsible professional.</li><li>Performs a comprehensive health assessment, including health history, physical exams, preventive screening; identifies medical health risks and needs.</li><li>Formulates the appropriate differential diagnoses based on clinical evaluation.</li><li>Performs, orders and/or interprets diagnostic studies within scope of practice.</li><li>Performs advanced technical procedures within scope of practice.</li><li>Plans and implements therapeutic regimens that include both nursing and medical management strategies, including prescription of medication/devices. Includes obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority.</li><li>Establishes systematic follow-up for the evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan as necessary.</li><li>Assures patient and family teaching is adequate to manage the illness or wellness plan at home.</li><li>Maintains accurate, legible, and confidential records and ensures appropriate billing process is followed for all patients.</li><li>Maintains competency and enhances professional growth and development through continuing education, conferences, and seminars.
