<div>QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Must maintain an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License registered with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE)</li>
<li>Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred</li>
<li>Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide</li>
<li>Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training</li>
<li>Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred</li>
</ul>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>End of week inventory to be provided to Lead DA to replenish inventory</li>
<li>Making Patient Safety and Team Safety the number one priority</li>
<li>Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols</li>
<li>Maintaining and upkeeping digital patient information</li>
<li>Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures</li>
<li>Keep exam rooms clean, disinfected, organized, and stocked according to the required standards at the beginning and end of each treatment</li>
<li>Educating patients and parents on the benefits of good oral health</li>
<li>Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visit</li>
<li>Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concern</li>
<li>Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart</li>
<li>Helping the Rodeo Team maintain office cleanliness and IC protocol</li>
<li>Completing daily assignments</li>
<li>Monitoring and recording patient vital signs</li>
<li>Suctioning, cutting sutures, and holding retractors</li>
<li>Mixing amalgam, cement, and pulp paste and preparing impression materials</li>
<li>Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression trays</li>
<li>Assisting with bonding, banding, adjusting, and debonding orthodontic patients</li>
<li>Placing and cementing bands</li>
<li>Setting up orthodontic brackets and removing excess cement from brackets and bands</li>
<li>Making retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions</li>
<li>Maintaining crash cart equipment and supplies</li>
<li>Working with oral and IV sedated patients in office and hospital settings</li>
<li>Providing excellent chairside assistance and anticipating next steps to stay in constant mental synchronization with the doctor</li>
<li>Ensuring the patient and parent comprehends the post-op instructions</li>

Specialty Registered Dental Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient</li>
<li>Instruct patient of elastic treatment</li>
<li>Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures</li>
<li>Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart</li>
<li>Mixing amalgam, cement, and preparing impression materials</li>
<li>Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression trays</li>
<li>Assisting with bonding, banding, adjusting, and debonding orthodontic patients</li>
<li>Placing and cementing bands</li>
<li>Setting up orthodontic brackets and removing excess cement from brackets and bands</li>
<li>Making retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions</li>
<li>Providing excellent chairside assistance and anticipating next steps to stay in constant mental synchronization with the doctor</li>
<li>Taking patient initial, progress, and de-bond photos</li>
<li>Taking scans of patients for clear aligners or models</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.</li>
