Rogers Group is seeking motivated, punctual, and safety-focused Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators with previous paving experience for our Construction Team in Cookeville, TN.

</li></ul>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Safely operate paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, skid steers, and other related equipment as assigned.
</li><li>Assist with asphalt paving operations including placement, compaction, and finishing of hot mix asphalt.
</li><li>Follow all Rogers Group safety policies, procedures, and job site safety plans at all times.
</li><li>Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and immediately report safety or mechanical concerns.
</li><li>Maintain awareness of crew members, traffic, and job site hazards to prevent incidents.
</li><li>Work closely with foremen and crew members to ensure proper mat quality, grade, and surface smoothness.
</li><li>Perform handwork, shoveling, raking, and other labor duties as needed to support paving operations.
</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS
<ul><li>Previous experience in asphalt paving or construction equipment operation preferred.
</li><li>Strong understanding of job site safety practices and hazard awareness.
</li><li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
</li><li>Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
</li><li>Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and reliability.
</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required; CDL preferred where applicable.
</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends.
</li><li>Actively participate in daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
</li><li>Stop work and report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately.
</li><li>Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and model safe behavior.
</li><li>Support Rogers Group&rsquo;s commitment to continuous safety improvement.
</li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Physical Requirements
</h3></li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
</li><li>Ability to safely climb on and off equipment throughout the workday.

Mitchell Crushed Stone - Rogers Group Inc. &ndash; Mitchell, Indiana
Typical weekly hours range from 40 to 45 hours per week; with occasional Saturdays. Overtime is common but not guaranteed. Employees must be flexible and able to adjust their schedule to meet seasonal demands and operational needs.
Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates for our Customer Service Representative position in Mitchell, Indiana. The successful candidate will be a motivated, safety conscious individual with good multi-tasking skills to operate our Truck Scale system, take customer orders, and dispatch trucks. They will perform general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures, requiring some judgement in the selection and interpretation of data.
Job Requirements:
<ul><li>Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
</li><li>Answer customer calls
</li><li>Take and input customer orders
</li><li>Dispatch products and material for delivery
</li><li>Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as payable, payroll, etc.
</li><li>Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities
</li>May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma required
</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
</li><li>Excellent customer service skills
</li><li>Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task
</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision
</li><li>Excellent communication skills both oral and written
</li>Must pass pre-employment drug screens, and subject to random drug screens while employed by RGI
