In this role, you&rsquo;ll provide solutions to the complex problems faced by engineers and scientists designing and building today&rsquo;s most advanced wireless applications. Working alongside our Sales, Marketing and R&amp;D teams, you will be demonstrating products, providing training, developing new features on our test solution and delivering technical support to our wide-ranging customer base throughout the US. By functioning as a consultative solutions provider, our Applications Engineers are often treated as an extension of the customer&rsquo;s internal technical teams.</p>
<p>Your tasks
</p><ul><div>Technical consultant for RF parametric testing supporting both R&amp;D and manufacturing projects</div>
<div>Demonstrate R&amp;S manufacturing solutions with different wireless modem chipset vendors to the customers</div>
<div>Develop, integrate and test R&amp;S manufacturing test automation solutions within customer&rsquo;s test environment</div>
<div>Advocate to customers on R&amp;S manufacturing tools, creating test plans and test methods for WIFI/BT/UWB and 4G/5G testing</div>
<div>Support customers on site, mostly in USA but occasionally in Asia or Europe as per project demands</div>
<div>Be a part of global Engineering team, actively contribute with ideas on product and process improvements</div>

</p><ul><div>B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent</div>
<div>3+ years of relevant experience in RF &amp; wireless communication including WiFi/BT/UWB/4G/5G</div>
<div>3+ years of experience in Python, object-oriented programming and software version control tools (SVN, GIT, etc), C++/Shell scripting a plus</div>
<div>3+ years of experience working with various wireless modem chipset vendor test tools. Qualcomm, Broadcom, MTK, etc</div>
<div>Experience with testing wireless devices, automation test solutions</div>
<div>Experience working with test equipment including radio communications testers, spectrum analyzers and signal generators</div>
<div>Understanding of test instrument &amp; wireless modem chipset control APIs, including SCPI programming</div>
<div>Excellent verbal/written communication and customer interfacing skills</div>
<div>Domestic and International travel &ndash; up to 10-15%</div>

The total compensation for this position is $125K-$167K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.<br>
