About the Role
We&rsquo;re seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and support fabrication, repair, and maintenance work across a variety of projects. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the physical capability to work in demanding environments. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and procedures</li><li>
Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting materials with powered saws</li><li>
Operate angle grinders and other prep tools</li><li>
Select appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements</li><li>
Align and clamp components using calipers, rulers, and related tools</li><li>
Weld components using manual or semi‑automatic equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions</li><li>
Repair machinery and structural components by welding and filling gaps</li><li>
Inspect and test welded surfaces to identify defects</li><li>
Maintain welding equipment in safe, reliable condition</li><li>
Correctly rig and hoist materials</li><li>
Work at heights and in confined spaces when required</li><li>
Stand, walk, kneel, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods</li><li>
Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions</li><li>
Maintain regular, punctual attendance and meet productivity standards</li><li>
Work long and varied hours (50&ndash;70 hours per week)</li></ul> 
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Proven experience as a welder</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings</li><li>
Experience with TIG, MMA, and other welding procedures</li><li>
Skilled in using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity</li><li>
Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of PPE</li><li>
Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program</li><li>
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen</li><li>
Ability to tolerate heights and maintain balance</li><li>
Ability to work in confined spaces (Confined Space &amp; OSHA certifications preferred)</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Professional certification such as AWS Welding Certification</li><li>
Additional safety certifications (OSHA, Confined Space)</li></ul> 
Work Environment
This role involves physical labor, exposure to outdoor conditions, and working in various positions and environments. Candidates must be comfortable with long hours and variable schedules.
