We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Accounting Tutor to join our academic team and provide hands-on training in accounting software and essential office tools.Job Description:The Accounting Tutor will be responsible for teaching students accounting concepts and practical skills using industry-standard accounting software. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a passion for helping students build job-ready accounting competencies.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and deliver structured lesson plans covering accounting fundamentals and practical applications.</li><li>Provide training on accounting software, including but not limited to:</li><li>Tally</li><li>QuickBooks</li><li>Zoho Books</li><li>Other similar accounting or ERP software</li><li>Teach practical usage of Microsoft Office Suite, especially:</li><li>Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, reports, basic analysis)</li><li>Microsoft Word</li><li>Microsoft PowerPoint</li><li>Conduct hands-on training sessions, demonstrations, and real-world accounting exercises.</li><li>Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical tasks, and assessments, providing constructive feedback.</li><li>Keep course content updated with current accounting practices, software updates, and industry standards.</li><li>Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.</li><li>Prepare and maintain course materials such as presentations, worksheets, case studies, and practice datasets.</li><li>Track student attendance, progress, and assessment records accurately.</li><li>Provide academic support and guidance to students regarding coursework and practical projects.</li><li>Collaborate with other instructors and academic staff to maintain consistency and teaching quality.</li><li>Participate in training sessions and professional development activities as required.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s degree is a plus).</li><li>Proven experience as an Accounting Tutor, Accountant, or in a similar teaching/training role.</li><li>Strong practical knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or equivalent.</li><li>Good command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.</li><li>Strong organizational and classroom management skills.</li><li>Ability to motivate students and create a professional learning environment.</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with accounting tools and practices.</li><li>Experience with online or blended learning platforms is an added advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Location: SharjahNote: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Please let us know whether you are interested in a part-time or full-time position.</li><li>please list the technologies and skills from the above categories that you can teach most effectively.</li><li>If you are based in Sharjah, kindly mention where you are located in Sharjah</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>teaching/training: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
