The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the execution of all manufacturing efforts of our medical devices. The Manufacturing Manager&rsquo;s focus will include the general supervision and continuous improvement of physical production, receiving, shipping, facilities, and equipment maintenance while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.This is a full time, onsite opportunity, reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing and Engineering. The intended work shift is Monday &ndash; Friday, 7:00am &ndash; 4:00pm ET.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor and two remote repair facilities.</li><li>Establish and communicate daily&#1643; weekly, and monthly objectives to the manufacturing teams.</li><li>Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track metrics.</li><li>Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.</li><li>Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.</li><li>Monitor and enforce compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO and FDA requirements.</li><li>Communicate regularly with senior management regarding problems or issues impacting production.</li><li>Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on manufacturing performance, labor efficiencies and areas for improvement to senior management.</li><li>Work closely with the engineering team to implement product/manufacturing improvements and provide testing/prototype building support when required.</li><li>Evaluate resources to ensure continued production with minimal downtime.</li><li>Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement among the manufacturing team.</li><li>Develop department budget and maintain team performance.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment plus 3 to 5 years of management experience, required.</li><li>Experience managing a team of 50-100 technical and assembly personnel.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. (OSHA, ISO, GMP)</li><li>Experience in mechanical and electrical manufacturing, required.</li><li>Previous experience with ERP systems, required. NetSuite experience preferred.</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel)</li><li>Effective leadership, decision-making, and project management.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Proven ability to coach and motivate team members.</li><li>Lean manufacturing experience, preferred.</li><li>Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.</li><li>Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.</li><li>Regular, predictable attendance is required.</li><li>Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to machinery, noise, and various manufacturing processes.</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs. with or without assistance.</li><li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position, bend, and lift.</li><li>Must be able to work a full shift standing if required.</li></ul>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
