Rooms To Go is hiring a Retail Stock Associate to work in the offices of our beautiful Retail stores. These fast paced, multi-faceted positions are responsible for packaging, wrapping, and loading furniture purchases for customers. Arranging furniture within the showroom at the direction of our designers and managers and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our showrooms.

What we're looking for: 
<ul><li>
This role requires lifting, loading, unloading, and/or assembling furniture.</li><li>
In addition, general cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred.</li><li>
Must also be able to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive daily basis and work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li>
Prior furniture and/or janitorial experience is a plus!

Retail Stock Associate

<div>Anyone who has experience working directly with customers can be successful selling KIDS furniture at Rooms To Go, including servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, flight attendants and anyone else in a service role. 
 
We provide our associates with the tools they need to be successful, including the best advertising, financing, and delivery service in the industry. 
 
We are actively recruiting for a Sales Associate for our KIDS furniture showroom.

What we are looking for:
 
<ul><li>Team player, driven and motivated to succeed</li><li>
Great listener with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality</li><li>
2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate)</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens</li><li>
Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule is required, which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li></ul> 

As a full time Retail Sales Associate, your primary responsibilities are: 
<ul><li>
Greet and engage customers</li><li>
Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision become a reality</li><li>
Generate sales through a consultative approach</li><li>
Build rapport with customers, through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills. Earning their business through honest conversation filled with integrity</li><li>
Encourage additional products to complete the room</li><li>
Work as a team to achieve sales goals</li><li>
Explain financing and protection plans</li><li>
Demonstrate our product value and explain benefits that fulfill the customer's needs</li></ul> 
Pay averages around $50,000 - $70,000 / year based on amount of commission earned through sales productivity.
