We seek to create opportunities for those who work hard and accomplish goals.What we are looking for:We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our properties.Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Diagnosing and performing preventative and corrective maintenance/repairs including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and interior and exterior upkeep</li><li>Perform landscaping cleanup, watering, weeding, mowing, tree/bush trimming, and fertilizing as needed</li><li>Daily and weekly inspection and maintenance of all common areas, homes, home-sites, and premises</li><li>Complete resident requested service orders provided by management on a timely basis in accordance with company issued standards</li><li>Following company safety standards</li><li>Ensuring the appearance of the property is neat, safe, and welcoming</li><li>Supervise maintenance work done on community by outside vendors/contractors brought in as deemed necessary by management</li><li>Manage on-site tool inventory system and maintain tools in proper working condition</li><li>Assisting in enforcing community rules, maintaining community safety, and responding to emergencies as needed</li><li>Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional image</li><li>Completion, inspection, and approval of all make readies and move-ins /move-outs (if applicable)</li><li>Shovel snow and operate snowplow in common areas as needed (if applicable)</li><li>Pool maintenance and cleaning (if applicable)</li><li>Other tasks as needed or assigned by management</li></ul>Requirements and expectations:<ul><li>A valid driver&rsquo;s license is required</li><li>At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment &ndash; mobile homes a plus</li><li>Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry - HVAC knowledge and experience a plus</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems independently</li><li>Ability to work in all types of weather conditions</li><li>A significant amount of physical activity (walking, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning, or lifting) is required daily</li><li>Comfortability and agility to crawl under homes and on top of roofs as needed</li><li>Able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently</li></ul>Schedule: The work schedule and availability for emergency on-call duty may vary depending on the specific location/community.Additional Information / Benefits:<ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Short and Long-Term Disability</li><li>Basic Life &amp; Accidental Death Insurance</li><li>Health Spending Accounts (HSA)</li><li>Holiday pay</li><li>Flexible PTO</li><li>Growth Opportunities</li><li>High energy company, a friendly &amp; supportive team environment</li></ul>Benefits are offered to eligible full-time employees.To be considered for employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
