</li><li>Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
</li><li>Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
</li><li>Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
</li><li>Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

</p><p><b>Rose Senior Living Farmington Hills </b>is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cook to join our team! This position is responsible for full-scope, hands on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. Is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.
</p><p><b><i>This position includes working every other weekend.
</i></b></p><p><b>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Cook:
</b></p><ul><li>Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
</li><li>Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
</li><li>Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure.

</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
</li><li>Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
</li><li>Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service such as quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance; and conduct evaluations to make revisions in operations / procedures to promote improved food service.
</li><li>Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
</li><li>Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

</i></b></p><p><b><i>Status: Full-time Hourly/Non-exempt
</i></b></p><p><b><i>Pay starting Range: $18-$21 based on credentials and experience!
</i></b></p><p><b>Schedule: 10:30PM-7:00AM FULL TIME, ROTATING WEEKENDS.
</b></p><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE: </b>Assist residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy. Assist residents at mealtime. Encourage a calm atmosphere. Report to nurse on duty and the Director of Health Services all unusual behaviors of resident (change in status).
</p><p><b>Minimum Required Qualifications: </b>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. At least One (1) year experience working in Assisted Living, Memory Care or skilled setting required.
</p><p><b>Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
