Responsible for maintaining the run of machine, motors and vehicles. Assess and monitor the condition of machinery. Oils and lubricates equipment and machinery throughout facility.</div><br>

Required Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as requested</li><li>
Must be decisive, craftsman, and maintain a clean work environment</li><li>
Must have basic hand tools</li><li>
Must exhibit proper use of all hand tools</li><li>
Learn and understand safe cutting and welding practices</li><li>
Be willing to accept orders and instructions once instructed by lead man or supervisor</li><li>
Develop good troubleshooting skills on machinery</li><li>
Become familiar with plant operations</li><li>
Complete all assigned PM&rsquo;s on time</li><li>
Run all necessary oil and grease lines as needed, change bearings and install manual and automatic oiling systems, etc.</li><li>
Develop good preventative maintenance practices on all assigned machinery</li><li>
Stay until all work or assignments are completed</li><li>
Must be able to communicate and able to work well with maintenance personnel, supervisors and operators</li><li>
Must possess basic computer skills and keep daily work order schedule current in EAM</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast paced environment</li><li>
Must be 100% safety minded and perform all tasks required safely and assist in the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of equipment</li><li>
Must learn and practice all safety and lockout procedures for equipment</li><li>
Must be able to work on various surfaces such as concrete, grating and steel</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Forklift certified</li><li>
Know how to properly use safety harnesses and lanyards</li><li>
Trained to use a man lift</li><li>
Capable of working in elevated areas</li><li>
Capable of working in tight and confined areas</li><li>

Job Summary:</b> Journeyman<b> </b>Millwrights will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities at the Dillard Lumber mill site.<br>
</p><p></p><p><b>Duties/Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>
Work safely and effectively in a team environment</li><li>
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair</li><li>
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operation</li><li>
Assist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals or field research</li><li>
Performs precision repairs on mill equipment.</li><li>
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on mill equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operation</li><li>
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the mill facility</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul><br>

Summary: </b>The position will require the employee to do the following duties and be able to proficiently operate all equipment. Job functions include but are not limited to:</p>
<ul><li>
Ability to work fast paced, straightening lumber and keeping lugs full</li><li>
Responsible for the examining lumber on a moving belt or chain conveyor, marking lumber defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits, wane, bug holes, mold or defective milling.</li><li>
Determines grade and trimming to obtain the highest marketable value</li><li>
Quality Assurance: Providing timely feedback to planer operators regarding planer quality &amp; size issues</li><li>
Must be able to obtain a grader certification</li><li>
Strong mathematical skills</li><li>
Proficiency in use of sawmill electrical controls</li><li>
Preference for certified lumber Graders or those with experience in grading lumber.</li></ul><br>
