The Strategic Sourcing &amp; Inventory Manager oversees supplier sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure cost-effective operations. This role manages vendor relationships, negotiates contracts, and maintains accurate ERP records while optimizing inventory levels. By analyzing data and implementing process improvements, the manager supports reliable supply chains and efficient operations.</p><p>

</p><p></p><ul><li>Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for products and services.
</li><li>Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery timelines with vendors.
</li><li>Issue and verify purchase orders.
</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
</li><li>Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery.
</li><li>Track and monitor inventory levels to meet operational needs without overstocking.
</li><li>Manage inventory databases and use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
</li><li>Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
</li><li>Implement process improvements in procurement and inventory management.
</li><li>Identify cost-effective and efficient product alternatives.

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience:</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma required.</li><li>
Bachelor degree in business administration or a related field strongly preferred.</li><li>
3+ years in sourcing, purchasing, and/or vendor management required.</li><li>
Firetruck knowledge preferred.</li><li>
General knowledge of contract law, import/export regulations, and ethical sourcing standards preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of supply chain risks (such as geopolitical instability, supplier financial distress, etc) and ability to build resilient sourcing strategies preferred.</li></ul></div></div><div><p><b><br>
