The ideal candidate can explain complex, calculus-based physics concepts clearly and patiently, helping the student build confidence and strong problem-solving skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide 1:1 or semi private tutoring in AP Physics</li><li>Break down challenging concepts and guide step-by-step problem solving</li><li>Support homework, test prep, and AP FRQ</li><li>preparation</li><li>Maintain consistent scheduling and professional communication</li><li>Build strong analytical and study skills with the student</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in related field (Bachelor&rsquo;s or higher preferred)</li><li>Experience tutoring AP or college-level related subjects</li><li>Strong communication skills; patient and supportive teaching style</li><li>Reliable and organized</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required)<ul><li>Familiarity with College Board AP curriculum</li><li>Teaching credential or prior teaching experience</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation<ul><li>1&ndash;2 sessions per week (flexible schedule)</li><li>Competitive hourly rate based on experience</li><li>In-person (Gardena/Torrance) or online</li></ul>Benefits (W-2 only)<ul><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease email your resume and a brief message describing your AP subject teaching experience to:Job Type: Part-timePay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Gardena, CA 90247
